RAE provided owners engineering services to Exelon Generation on the design and construction phases of the 10MW / 4MHhr Clinton Battery facility. This facility participated in the PJM frequency regulation market. The batteries were contained in three containers and were connected to five inverter / transformer pairs. The interconnection was to a 34.5kV direct feeder from a Duke Energy substation located adjacent to the project site.
